Welcome to Ooh Arr Adventures!

I love to write, I love to travel, I love to drink fizzy wine!

There are many places across the world that I am hoping to visit and this site will be used to share my experiences – good and bad. I hope you enjoy reading about my travels and they inspire to set off on your own adventures….

If you haven’t yet travelled to Cornwall, perhaps add it to your bucket list. It’s beautiful, unique and you will never find a tastier pasty anywhere in the world!

The bridge I often refer to is the Tamar Bridge that links Plymouth (and the rest of the UK) to Cornwall. OK, there is another route into Cornwall but I like the idea of travelling across the bridge to begin adventures both in and out of Cornwall.

If you’re wondering where the name of the site comes from, Ooh Arr (must be said with a Westcountry accent) is thought to have originated from Cornwall’s rich fishing heritage and its famous encounters with the pirates! In more recent years, it’s used to show appreciation or enjoyment – perfect for my travel adventures!

If you have any questions about Cornwall or my travels over the bridge, get in touch!

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
